Bingbot
Bingbot is Microsoft's web crawler for Bing Search. It also powers Bing Copilot (Microsoft's AI search product). Sites indexed by Bingbot may appear in both Bing Search results and Copilot AI answers.

Unlike most AI crawlers, Bingbot does not require a separate allow rule — it is typically already allowed by sites that allow the standard search crawlers. However, Bingbot is the underlying indexing layer for Bing Copilot. If your site is blocked from Bingbot, it cannot appear in Bing's AI search answers.
